We are saddened and angered by the tragedy in Charlottesville, Virginia, this past weekend.
Budget actions, July 28, 2017
The state of Missouri continues to face budget challenges and as a result, the university has experienced additional adjustments for our FY18 budget. Dr. Choi has asked that we make every effort to ensure we remain focused on our highest priorities despite these challenges.
Directly following President Choi’s address, campus leadership will discuss campus-specific budget priorities and short- and long-term strategies.

Stokes named interim chancellor
Dr. Garnett Stokes appointed interim chancellor of the University of Missouri, effective May 3. Dr. Stokes will serve in the role of interim chancellor until a permanent chancellor arrives on campus.

I want to thank everyone here at MU for allowing me to lead. Today, I am announcing that I have accepted the position of president at the New York Institute of technology, effective June 1. My last day at Mizzou will be May 3.
