Mizzou community, supporters, and friends,

Last week, I shared my own story in order to begin a conversation about the experiences people have at Mizzou. Many of you have already responded with your own #MizzouMade stories. It has been great to hear about how MU has transformed people’s lives. Read for yourself and share your favorites on social media, using the hashtag #MizzouMade.

I appreciate the time and efforts of those who submitted a story. One perspective that many contributors shared is how much value is added by MU Athletics. Our membership in the SEC not only gives student athletes numerous opportunities to shine—it also provides our community with venues to cheer on our teams and our institution. We are proud of the academic and athletic successes of our students, coaches and staff.

With that in mind, I am highlighting the #MizzouMade story of Alexa Ethridge. Alexa balanced a successful career in Mizzou Volleyball with her academic career, earning a 3.8 GPA and earning a spot in MU’s graduate speech pathology program. Find out more about what this on- and off-the-court star has to say about MU.

Keep sharing, and don’t forget to look below at top reasons to choose Mizzou.

Until next time…M-I-Z!
