Join MU Chancellor Brady J. Deaton as he moderates the sixth of a series of open forums on global topics of interest to the community. Scientists often conduct research that does not seem to have a direct application to the greater good. However, many important discoveries have arisen from this basic type of research. Come discuss the importance of basic research in solving society's difficult problems. The Chancellor's forums are free and open to the public.
